Flowering Maple Plant

I had never seen these before so when I came across it the other day I scooped it up. They had another one with Variegated leaves and the flowers were a lighter orange, not quite as intense as this one.

Abutilon - such pretty colours! That's a beauty. You will have to overwinter it indoors?

Gorgeous! My GF has a few Abutilon and always brings them in in the winter. They really are gorgeous plants. This year she got a new one with varieagated leaves.

BBQ, thanks I love these blooms. They're so pretty! I had read that I would need to winter them inside but I may end up having to get my Mom to do it for me since I live in an apartment that gets very little sunlight. My windows all face the wrong way. I've only managed to keep two plants alive in this place, a Lucky Bamboo and a Jade Plant.

Eeyore, They had the ones with Variegated leaves as well, I got this one because the flowers were a deeper orange, however I may go and get one of the Variegated ones too if they haven't sold out. The flowers are just gorgeous!

My grandmother used to have one of these, but she kept hers indoors all through the year. It was so beautiful, and apparently easy to propagate (by rooting clippings?).
