I've considered potato barrels but haven't had the confidence to try it. It seems simple enough but.... Hope you will let us know how the potatoes grown in the barrels turn out.

My potatoes are coming up from the kitchen scraps/peelings I put in the ground directly and am wondering if that is why I am seeing some damage on the tomatoe leaves.
