My Big project for the year - Done!! Pics P.10 (5)
Well, wasn't supposed to be this year but can't help myself!!LOL
This is what my front used to look like....the big picture window used to be a garage, so basically the driveway goes right up to it.
The railway ties have been bugging me since I moved in last year....
With the ties
After the ties have been removed
And the new, reshaped front

This is a crude drawing of what I plan...2 paths, one to the front one to the side doors, and a large (very large!!) garden in front of where the attached garage was. The plan though, involves digging up the gravel and creating a nice bed!!!
It will be filled with sun loving floweering shrubs, and perrenials.

Looking better already Kelly! Nice plans you've got there. It's going to be a lot of work digging that gravel. It should help the k-kids develop a nice set of muscles!

Yes...There's a concrete slab there that will serve as a patio area....there will be at least one path through that garden as well....It is the short cut from the front to the back!!!
