Scrap - CT has had some nice looking plants this year. I've got a Morden Blush, it's my favorite rose. When you say topiary, do you mean on standard? Looks like a tree with a long bare trunk and the foliage at the top?

Linda and Ven - I'm sure you'll be able to find somewhere to put the thyme.

Yep Eeyore...straight, bare trunk with the foliage and roses on top...that's the one! Morden Blush topiaries/standard...I'm sooo tempted.

Scrap - I'm not really fond of plants on standards,,, I do love those Mordens though!
