Well...not to worry you more
but a child could drown in 2 inches of water. Bylaws have it that we need to build an inpenetrable fence for our pools, but we nothing around a pond.
That being said, even with fences and barricades, children still manage to get in. It is us that need to stop it. Diligence. Watching and rules.
I don't imagine kids off the street will wander in, but family OTOH, need to be watched. Rules, firmly in place, that they can not go near the pond without an adult. or even in the yard without one. The older the child, the more respect that they will have for the fact that this is a pond, a garden and is not to be played in. younger children, can be taught, but just like anything they are doing we need to keep a constant eye on them.
My 2 cents!

I'm just wondering why they would wander into someone else's yard??? Just me perhaps...always taught to respect other's privacy, and passed that on to my kids....
