that's what I was thinking too.... the combination of painting + lattice should really do the trick! Looking good!

gas line
Maybe you could hide the gas line by building a waterfall around it?

What a huge difference from the first pic to these
Beautiful!! it is looking nicer all the time
Your hubby is really handy
He built this all by himself!!!! That is a lot of work and a good mind to think of all this
What a difference a few days makes, Now just think when all the plants are in and blooming
I;d be sitting out there as much as possible and I am sure you will be too.
Bottle of nice wine and a book or just watching the fishes
The fishes would entertain me for hours as the birds do
