Fence and bricks
Hi all,
I have just bought my first house and we will be looking to do some landscaping in the backyard (roughly 50x100). We need to put up a fence to keep our dog in and would prefer to use wood. We would also like to create a stone walkway. Obviously, as new home owners, we are looking for a way to do all of this without spending too much money. Any ideas? Labour will all be supplied by friends.
thanks!

fences are expensive...no doubt about it. You have some alternatives if you don't mind some hard work for the paths however and you could save some money...there are plastic forms available at Lee Valley..that you pour concrete into and it makes a very nice kind of fieldstone path..my brother has used it on his Acre property and it looks just great.
