Grass in container

Postby Jackie » Feb 17, 2009 11:57 am

I really feel like planting something RIGHT NOW - would like to do a container of grassindoors just to tide me over until spring. What seeds shall I use ?- the container is a small rectangle - and I want grass that will grow in a compact fashion - appreciate any ideas.... Thanks ... Jackie

Jackie,
You can use regular grass seed. Then you can just 'mow' it with scissors to keep it the height you want.
Spring will be here soon!

What about "cat grass", and if you don't own a cat, you gift it to someone who does, when you tire of it! Seeds are usually readily available anywhere.

You can start any Ornamental Grass seeds now.
