my blush gets about 2 feet maximum.
why not stick with the explorer roses throughout?? some ver pretty Morden series ones out there and Topaz Jewel is a must have IMHO only gets about 2 feet

Hi Steamer,

I like the idea of planting all roses in the bed. Explorers would be great. I think the Jens Munk will be fine if you keep it pruned back every spring, or every few years. I cut my roses back most years so they don't get too leggy.
My problem is with your somewhat, umm, overambitious plan for the rest of the bed. The roses alone will fill most of the 4-5 foot depth of the bed. You should have room at the front for another row of smaller plants, but not lavender and boxwood and annuals!! Lavender always looks great with roses, if it grows well in your area.
