Slow project, but progress
Last fall I asked what you'd do for my north part shade bed. I spent my time and money then amending the clay soil and letting it settle so I could work more on it this year. Money is tight in this economy so I've been scrounging. I've got enough saved up for the diablo ninebarks some of you suggested as they're just gorgeous.
I scored some stone off freecycle, and am getting some more this weekend I hope. So put in the stone, layered the open sections in cardboard and will be adding more mulch, compost and topsoil tomorrow to build it up further. I'll also be edging the lower tier with some quality edging material that I scrounged.
Progress! Slow progress, but progress.
