New Deck and Pond

Postby Eeyore » May 12, 2012 10:39 pm

I promised to post some "after" pictures of the deck. It really opens up the yard without the railing on it.

Look ma, no railing!

We have to finish sanding it and putting some kind of wood sealer on it.

The new pond. Not completed yet.

All in a days work. :)

I sure do.... water gardening! Got some great planters planned for the deck too. Water planters! Got some of the King Tut Grass that Betty had in her garden and am aiming for a giant Taro for another pot.

*Groan*

Did you decide to go with Aluminum or PVC for the railings?

LOL! Kelly.

Actually we dedcided not to put a rail on at all. It is within code and we put an apron all the way around that acts as a step. It's a bit of a high step but it works.
