Wednesday Afternoon!

Pull up a chair and grab a cup of Java for a cozy chat about what's on your mind and what's happening in your neck of the woods. This is a strictly for fun non-gardening topics.

What a thrill for you Brenda!
I hope they become regulars for you.

Yes, it is such a thrill to see them.
They live here year round, and raise at least one batch of young 'uns a year.
We see them pretty well every day, but very rarely together. It's very sweet watching Mr. C. seducing Mrs. C. in the spring, in the hope that she will be suitably impressed!
They do show up so much more when they have a background of white though.
Like you Inge I love the colouring of the female. He's very red and loves it! She, on the other hand, is much more subtle, and the more you see the more you realize how beautiful she is, in all her shades of pink and taupe, and, and.....!

I'm not sure we can afford to keep that feeder going! I think we spend more money on filling that, (daily), than we do on ourselves. One of these days I'm going to have the camera handy enough to take a pic of the dozen or so bluejays who fight to sit at the table all at once!
