look who else likes birdfeeders

This is a monther/child pair who visit daily.
Here's another shot which looks like a two-headed, 8-legged deer.

I envy you the deer but not the snow. Very nice pics.

I got deer, but no snow...thank you for these pictures!!!
Woke up this morning (feeling fine)...ZERO out there, and frost on all the roofs, and husb said SLUSH on his windshield. There IS snow on the mountains...maybe one of these days I will get lucky!

Oh TB they are so beautiful. I usually only find their tracks in my garden but do on occasion get to see them.
Ron.
The wood is clear between the knots.

Nice looking deer TB. It's not uncommon to see one that age with scarring of some kind but this one looks very healthy.

Ahh, and here is the third (of four that visit daily). Yesterday, a lovely young buck with 3-point antlers came to check on the situation. He was more shy though. Last year, I was gifted four separate antlers.

Breathtaking shots, Trailblaze. Deer are so incredulously lovely. And so is your lake. Oh, and your birdfeeder, too. laffs You live in a beautiful spot of Earth.

Once again, I remind you that this is not a lake (would that it were!). It's a dirty ol' beaver pond, full of stumps and rotten drowned logs, and some kinds of algae, wee fish and froggies. It's 'good eatin' for the local wildlife in springtime, and a never-ending source of wonder for shutterbugs like myself.
We canoe on it once or twice a year, and have found dead critters in it (a muskrat this spring). It is only about 10 feet deep in most parts, except where the beaver have dug the channels deeper. Nature's architects!
