This is a fish crow, which looks very like ours except its call is a loud nasal "whaa ha!" which had us in stitches.

White morph of a reddish egret. not shy obviously.

and a double crested cormorant...which we have as well. check out the green eye!

Very nice photos. It's always interesting to see how low the cormorants float in the water.

Almost 'mossed these ones...your pics are all scattered about. Kat, if I missed any others, let me know.

I've got a close up somewhere of a cormorant's eye...like a jewel it is.

I almost missed thi too

Please pardon me but it is the cormorants that nests on the pile ons and yes they are protected too

But ours look different. They are very black in color

I should take pictures of my ravens I've
ve had here since 3-4 years

I had 3, now I have 5. Offsprings maybe??
