I don't need to go out early. As long as I am out of her by 10 am I am ok
I get my feet done at VON if I can't get out it means I can't get another appointment for 6 more weeks and my big toes are infected now from ingrown nails

Re: Freezing rain
We had rain on Friday, then the temp went down. Main streets have been sanded/salted but the residential streets are so icy that when a car goes by it's reflection can be seen in the street. Kinda nice tho cause the traffic is slow like it should be.

Re: Freezing rain
I got fooled
I heard the feeezing rain hit the windows and saw the salt trucks go by
lat nite but I didn't bother to look outside
Got up this am, everything pure white and about 8 inches of snow down. Yep inches

Re: Freezing rain
Gosh, I prefer snow to freezing rain anyday. Do you have to go out today, bf? We are staying in until Wednesday (dump day, which I call 'Dump 'n Donuts' day (a take-off on the name "Dunkin Donuts" which was a favorite in Montreal, where I grew up).
This morning, we woke to -22C and the promise of snow all day tomorrow, with maybe rain on Wednesday?! It's getting to be like Calgary weather...changing frequently. Until mid-winter I suppose, when we just go into a deep freeze. But these days, it seems to be changing a lot. You too? I'm going to keep a daily weather log this winter, for looking back on next year.
