wondering if Betty has rec'd
Wondering if Betty has received her new Maytag washer/dryer. Would love to see a pic.

You and everybody I know seems to wonder about that, although I don't think I have been in one place long enough the last week to receive anything.
I did get an email Nov 24 asking for my particulars so they could "start the process". I have no idea how long the process lasts.
With the weather this last week, I could have used a dryer but today promises to be nice so I will get caught up. I will certainly record the event and let everyone know when they arrive.
I never really expect to see them till January although I did have the dryer spot all cleaned out and ready for delivery the day before the contest ended!!
Of course, a collection of junk is magically appearing there in the empty spot.

That's for sure! When the kids come over & want to play pool they pile it all on the freezer.

Re: wondering if Betty has rec'd
I've been without a dryer now since the end of September and no outdoor clothesline...well there is part of the set-up, but I don't think it's been used now for decades as a tree is growing right beside it-lol. I use the pole to hang suet on.
But yesterday I finally got a dryer. It's a Maytag stacking set, but "condo sized" for our limited space here. Yay...fluffy towels once again!
Hope yours arrives soon Betty!

It is taking a long time for them to get Betty's set to her.
I couldn't not get along without my dryer in winter. I dodn't hang clothes out any more, only in summer and then it is just sheets and towels
I don't want to iron anything. Not my style to iron, Hate it.
I buy my nice crisp blouses from Marks Works wear house
I wear white with my suits for work
They are the best mens shirts and blouses on the market
Not too expensive and never need to be touched with an iron. They are far superior to any other kind.
I hope you get your set soon Betty

Re: wondering if Betty has rec'd
I haven't had overnight company for two months so yesterday I attacked the guest room as I was using it as a potting/craft room and the cat as his bedroom.
Since overnighters are expected, the top of the bed needed more room than an 18 lb cat takes up, and having a bag of soil for a pillow might not be acceptable.
Hopefully the set does not come before Christmas as now the laundry room is even more packed as I put the soil, sand, and cement mix (or whatever it is called Ron) there.
The joy of front loading is that I will have lots of flat surface on top to throw things on, once I move things out to get it in!
I love the clothes line and plan on still using but it will be nice when the weather is being difficult.

Yes, those flat surfaces are just begging for company. I try, I really do to keep my dining room table clear but it's a hopeless effort.
