It's forecast to go down to -34C here tonight with a windchill of -43C.
Presently at -30. Our poor little dog was only out for a few minutes and came in holding her paws up in distress. I'll have to dig out the booties.

Okay, it's not just limited to Saskatchewan....
I saw geese flying today. Seems kind of late to be taking off now. Will they make it to their destination if the weather is so extreme?

-9.8 as I write here in NS this morning. Back up tomorrow and I wish that it would stay at approx the same temperature for more than one day in a row.
I have not even covered things yet as the ground has not stayed frozen long enough for me to find time to get it done.

We had the cold last week, followed by five inches of rain this past Thursday. That night it turned to a nasty ice storm....lost power for several hours...some towns just 20 minutes away are still without power and got hit worse than us this time...I hate the sound of trees cracking in the dead of night and you don't know just where that crack came from!
