Supper Dec. 14
Following BBQ tonight.
I got a pound each of ground pork & beef @ 50% off today & divided it into ¼ lb packages for the freezer, holding back one of each to make meatballs for supper. Together with some of our tomato sauce from the freezer and few herbs & spices for supper.

Nice looking Italian bowl too!
I made a Cod/Shrimp/Potato Pie.
I spiced up the white sauce with a little cayenne pepper, (in addition to s&p), and some shredded cheese. I kept the mashed potato quite sturdy as I didn't want it to melt all over the place when it was put in the oven. It really was a one-dish meal, and I roasted a large tomato in the oven for the last 20 minutes or so with the pie.
It was very good indeed!
