Surprise @ Price Chopper

I am usually by myself @ price Chopper but today Jeanne was with me. I have on a few occasions had the opportunity to chat with the store operator. Today as we were shopping he waved at us from a distance & called out a hello. Jeanne said "who is that" & I told her. A short while later he came up to us & handed me a 600 gm tin of Peek Frean biscuits with his card attached & said Merry Christmas.

We don't have one either

Superstore manager was good to do things like this when the manager was a Newfoundlander and the store was enlarged

Don't know what happened to the Newfie but he sure was nice and so helpful

Now since they enlarged the store 2 years ago it is almost like Crappy tire.

Yep leave it to Ron, he gets all the great sales and freebies

So Ron, it would be nice if you would include a 'how to shop' chapter in your cookbook. :D

Spose he appreciates me taking all the marked down stuff off the shelves so the fresh stuff is displayed?

He did say something about appreciating a good customer. I must say I was a bit embarrassed & he looked a bit as well.

he is showing you how much he enjoys your business
