WHOOPIE! I got SNOW!

WHOOPIE! I got SNOW!

They said one centimetre, possibly 2. There is more than 8 cm.

It snowed all night, and is still snowing now...the plough finally went by at noon, and then the sander.

The BIG snowfall is to hit us on Sunday.

Thank you, Laura...it's delightful, I went for a good walk, just smiling all over my face...young teens having mock snowball battles, the laughter ringing out...such Joy.

Eeyore, pups LOVE the snow, but the two pictured (Kiley, and Cordy) just hate the snowballs on their legs and not being allowed in my bed to dry off and warm up...Miss Molly is the Sh**** and she doesn't care about snowballs, she HAS to be out there investigating everything.

The snow continues, and so do the red weather alerts...haven't heard from family in Vancouver so don't know how much they got there...I'm sure traffic is hellacious for the working folks.

We went for walkies here too Liz . . . it was wonderful,Sarah was running and jumping and playing snowplow and got covered in snowballs.I just love the way fresh snow looks and it smells great outside. It is not the type of snow to make a snowman but maybe next time.

Yes, K...I sure did! Awful accidents everywhere, terrible driving conditions - whiteouts, slippery hills, towtrucks sliding and crashing, semis overturned, highways closed...Parksville got over 30 cms/a foot and most places, it continues to fall. It's gorgeous...except for the trouble it is causing other folks.

Laura, heavy wet snow, perfect for snowmen, snowballs, and apparently it is wonderful for tobogganing...bring Sarah!

I have been run off my feet today, clearing snow, feeding birds, chasing cats and pigeons. I expect tomorrow will be worse as "they" say to expect minus 20 wind chill...

Yesterday I was admiring the pretty little primroses doing so nicely!

My Cosmos have FINALLY succumbed!
