I love that cheese but have eaten it since I started watching my sodium intake. The trouble was, I could never stop with just a tiny amount, I had to keep snacking and snacking.

Joan - it's a cold pack sharp cheddar. It's not like cheese whiz. It's actually fairly dry and it crumbles quite easily. It's dang tasty though!
Ron could get a real good cheese flavour if he added that to his bread....

I love McClaren's cheese, usually use it in pierogies.... and those rice crispie/pb squares.....so I am definitely going to try these. I need something to bring to a potluck as an appetizer, so these sound just perfect. Thank you!

I was thinking that was expensive Ron but I paid $6.19 for a 250g tub...

It's in our independent grocer's, for $5.99 a small red container.....looks to be about a cup's worth. I haven't got any.....wonder if I can use ordinary grated cheddar? I will definietly add the spices, and maybe a few cumin seeds....my fav.
