BF I store them this way so I don't get any bugs.Bugs usually are found in

grain products.Used to get them when I had my bird, from the seed...worms &

moths.Better to be safe than sorry.

I read, somewhere, that if you scatter a few bay leaves throughout your food cupboards, the bugs will stay away!
I have done just that!

I have a sketch and a list of requirements for my dream pantry. Does that count?

Very nice cupboards Ron and Butterfly. I like that idea.
Like Pansy, I keep my sugars and flour in sealed plastic containers.

I guess my little bags of everything gets used up quickly so no bugs

But my canister sets are wooden with plastic liners and 2 of my pull out drawers for spices etc is lined with cedar

Maybe this is why I don't get bugs

But one year I had moths so bad they were crawling along the ceiling edges

I had to get stuff for them and had a heck of a time getting rid of them

Home Harware told me they develope in bags of birdseed and yep that closet I kept it in is where the moths came from

Moths, the kind that eats your clothes although they diddn't hurt anything.

Now birdseed is sealed in plastic tubs
