6" forecast for our area with blowing & drifting. Jeanne is not going to the gym today.
Ron.

The wood is clear between the knots.

I have been hearing the warnings for you guys. Stay warm and safe and please don't send it down east.

What gets me is that the local stations have been going on and on about this storm for a week.......my area doesn't even have a storm warning!!!!! We are only supposed to get 5 to 10 cm....but Toronto...the center of the universe is to be hit hard.

I don't live there. I am not travelling there. I want to know MY forecast, not somewhere that has completely different weather patterns!!!!

Kfinished her rant!

Yup . . . the snow arrived here too abt 1/2 an hour ago. There was no gradual build-up . . . it was a heavy snowfall as soon as it started. I'm not sure how much we're gonna get up here but it'll probably be more as u get further South towards T'rawnna.

I don't think I can hold it back much Betty but we'll try to use up as much of the snow as we can.

It hasn't arrived here yet, but when I look on the weathercast, it's a big blue blob heading straight this way.
reminds me of that song from the 60's: "Better get ready....crystal blue persuasion....."
yes, persuading us to stay home, off the roads.....for those who can. My grown daughter drives to work each day in Toronto, blizzard or not....worrisome.

I heard about your storm on the radio. Many delayed or cancelled flights through Pearson. Stay safe everybody.

Diane - it's always worrisome when the kids are out driving. And they say you worry less when they get older....
