Thanks Brenda! I just love Christmas trees when they are all done up.
My son's girlfriend commented that she loved some of my "ghetto" ornaments. LOL! They all have memories and stories so I can;t seem to part with them, no matter how tacky they are.

Beautiful, and I have a couple of those bulbs in my collection as well.

Laura, your tree reminds me of ALL of the trees I grew up with, and those I had, while the kids were young; money was scarce, ornaments were handed down,,and it was a time before "themed" trees became the norm.

Went from a "fun tree" like yours, to:
-pastels-white, pink & blue with pearls, to,
- all gold,, to
- burgundy & gold at present.

Your tree makes my heart smile!

What a wonderful tree, Laura!

We have to go with a more bare look - especially around the bottom. Cats just love dangly things. laf!

So glad you all enjoyed the picture. With my dizziness and balance problems I can't decorate the tree usually but hubby does a great job.It really wouldn't be christmas without a tree . . . one year when the chrildren spent christmas with thier dad I didn't put one up and I will never be without one again even if it is only a small one.
