It's kinda annoying

when the forum thinks that it's a good thing to have the participants "log in" about every second day. I thought perhaps I had some degree of short time memory loss but the powers that be here suffer considerably more than I do.

Was that a rantette? I have to login when haven't posted for 24 hours, Lee. Reckoned it was a "recent" bell or whistle. Don't need to key in user name and password which saves me about 22 seconds of time. laffs

The forum asks me to log in every morning. But then my machine is turned off for the nite. Firefox remembers my name and password so all I have to do is 'click'.

The only time I have to log in is if I've cleared the cookies, etc. I believe that's how it's supposed to work. I turn my computer off every night and that doesn't affect the memory.

William mentioned awhile ago that we'll be asked to log in once a week. That seems to be about right for me, although there are times when it seems more frequent than that.

I know it takes only a few seconds but I do find it annoying too especially if I do come in more than once a day. I have to every time I come in

About once a week for me here. Safari remember my login INCORRECTLY, even though I've edited it over and over again in the Keychain and re-saved the correct info.

Something about this site overrides my Keychain/Safari preferences. Not a biggie, I only have to change one field and as soon as I start typing it auto-fills.

BF, set Safari to remember passwords, or go into Keychain and manually add this account here, with your login details.

Avatar & I can't remember how the h#*^ to get it back.

I've never seen a Forum that's so against it's members.
