This talk inspired me to make some too. A couple bottles of sliced dills & a pint of tomolives. I did not have any fresh garlic so resorted to dry minced.

Wow Ron! I get such a kick out of that. You see, hear, talk about, something and it creates an idea! I love that.
I'm copying your chart too. I've never made Dill Pickles before, so followed a recipe pretty closely the first time, (other than the addition of a chill!). If the ones I've made turn out OK then I will have the confidence to play around a little!
I have more small onions sitting around in a little salt at the moment - they should be ready for bottling around 9 this evening!
