Love summer!
It just doesnt get any better does it? Some of you may remember or know I tore an old cedar hedge that was eating our pool up, and took a busted up driveway out, and put in a raised brick terrace with a bali-inspired fence. This is how its looking today, two summers later.

Now that is a fence of perfection. Excellent look.

Re: Love summer!
Thank you, so much you guys!
Im not showing the part that still looks a bit bare... ha ha. I got the price quote for the retaining wall to shore up the pool, $ 35,700, to START, and that is just not going to happen. So I am trying to come up with a design for a deck off the living room, a lap pool, a koi pond and a sloping garden leading down to the river "garden", which is horrifically choked with weeds again at the moment. A few contractors have told me that would be cheaper than trying to save this enormous 80 000 litre hole thats got shifting sand walls under it and we can see daylight through the concrete on the cliff face now. Nobody swims in it but me and the grand kids now.
Changes.
Here are some of the things I have growing in this semicircular bed. Its really the only full on sun bed I have. I love it!

Gorgeous!! Like a picture out of a magazine. Don't envy you having to decide what to do about your pool though. Edie
