Re: I wear the doggone pants. Translation: Help me
And just what evil modifications did you make to your pet petter ?
So your dog walks better with you than with your wife .. uh huh ..
I see the pattern.

Actually it does, from what I heard her say. But then again, I'm following a couple of books. But hmm.. this could be another trick. You're right. Next it will turn into, you walk it so much better you should go again. Then it will be, here's a poop-bag do the dirty deed.
I never thought of this. Thanks Dave.

I think it'll be more like " I'm taking my dog for a walk, see you later"
Then it'll be " see the new trick I taught her?

Mary-Jane
I finally remembered to get it. Was a pain finding a bottle of liquid and not capsules. Walmart had a bottle of this.
So will try it either tomorrow or this weekend (just have to try and remember to use it).

Well, Mary-Jane, it worked.
That dog actually ate a whole can of food and then went on to gulp down about 2 or 3 cups of dry food. I put 2 caps on the wet food and 3 on the dry.
At first it just licked the dry food, then it tried spitting the dry food out after sucking on it, then it tried pushing the dry food out of the bowl to get at the bottom of the bowl where I suppose some of the oil collected, then it said frig it and ate it all.
It ignored the can food since 5-pm. I added the oil on top of it at 9pm. It was all gone by 9:02
Unbelievable.
I never would have thought of this. I didn't see this little trick written anywhere either.
I'll cut the oil back a bit tomorrow and see if it will gobble the food down with only 1 cap full.
+1 to you Mary-Jane. Worked like a charm. But for how long....

That's a lot of food, and A LOT of cod liver oil.
She may need more walkies.
She may even get the trots!
Your dog, your choice, but I think I would limit the cod liver oil to a scant capful per day.
Have you tried adding some of the canned food to the dry food, a little cod liver oil, and mix all together well.
