Oh Deer

The deer have been leaving my vegetable garden alone the last few weeks & this morning I discovered why. They are feasting on the corn in our back five acres.

Ahh, that's sad to see, Ron. You're going to have to plant extra for them next year - or put up a very high fence. Is the corn almost ripe?

Not yet. This is not sweet corn.

Oh Deer Ron! What were you going to use it for if it isn't sweet corn?

Corn starch, corn oil, corn syrup, corn flour, corn flakes ---- -
