After 2 days of cooking and cleaning, followed by another day of doing dishes, I bet she's glad it's only once a year!

Cooking was not bad and cleaning was done yesterday. I still have a few dishes to cleanup but most are in the dishwasher. Now get this right ,,,,, this was NOT a family birthday dinner. Our friends from Burkina Faso are here visiting in Ontario. WE hosted them for dinner and had a very nice visit,,just the 4 of us.

I hate dishes with a passion. I don't even like to fill or empty the dishwasher. Can't stand it. I'd rather pick up dead rabbits.

It's even worse after you eat turkey. No man can move after eating turkey. It's like a law of physics.

I think the first time the better half ever came to my place in Montreal she freaked at the pile of dishes, so she did them all. That's when I decided she might be ok for more than a weekend fling.

No. But she did clean the encrustation of the microwave that I recall. I also recall that she actually bitched after cleaning it. It's not like I invited her over to clean the place.... But, eh, who am I to stop a woman from doing what comes naturally...
