You mention that the #'s at the parade were way up....seemed to be the case everywhere this year! Elmvale's was apparently better attended than ever as well! and I think Elmvale is smaller than Tottenham!LOL
I think...the schools, esp in the smaller community have done an excellent job in teaching kids what Rememberance day is about...that and the Legion has changed their tactic. Then there is the government...vetrans affairts I guess it is that have a very excellent website and put out really good promotional tools esp for the schools.
