Karen - I have forwarded your request to Linda via PM. We prefer that you don't post your personal information in the forums but that you contact other members via the PM or e-mail feature. You can do that by clicking on their user name on the left side of the post, You are then directed to your "User Control Panel" where you'll get links to either "send an e-mail" or "send a PM."

Hi Linda,
I am a newby and love this forum.
I am emailing you to ask if you have some of your seeds left.
Unfortunately I do not have any to share back, but will amend that after this summer.

Hi Linda,
I just joined Canadian Gardening site yesterday! And am loving it!!!!
I doubt if u hve any seeds left by now....but if u do....could I get some of the 2 hollyhocks you mentioned. I don't need many as I have a very small garden area as I live in a townhouse, but I do have some nice pink hollyhock seeds that I could give u in exchange if u would like. Pls get back to me as I am not sure how to go about doing this except that I need to send a self addressed stamped env. but not sure how to go about exchanging addresses. Thx.
Cathy (aka Marla)
P.S. I had never had hollyhocks until 2 yrs ago, when a squirrel (I guess!) left me a "present" in my garden and viola, I had pink hollyhocks!!! LOL

Re: Seeds I have to Share
Hi Linda.
Thx. The seeds arrived today. I appreciate you substituting the cream for the red. As u know the only color I have had till now was the 'surprise' pink. lol
I was planning on planting them this weekend but was wondering if I should plant the seeds in starter pots and then transplant them into garden when they are a little bigger or would they be ok to just start right in the garden. We're supposed to start getting summer weather starting Sun..YIPPEE...it's about time!!!
Nice doing business with you..Will u be having an seeds from red hollyhocks later this season, when this summer's flowers die off? And if so could u send me some then?
Thx Cathy

Cathy go ahead and sow them right in the garden. I don't grow the Single Reds anymore, so I shall have no seed to share. I just grow the Double Burgundy now. Happy Gardening!
