Lupines are beautiful but I sure as heck don't have any light soil! Any suggestions?

I have good dark rich soil here...they do fine. but it does get pretty hot in the spot they are in
.I could pop some seeds into an envelope for you...worth a shot I'd say...maybe grown in MB makes a difference.

Re: dividing
Smitty, I have some lupins that I've noticed the seed pods on. At what point do I remove them and/or store them and/or plant them?

Re: dividing
when they go brown...hopefully before they split open and fly all over the place.(if it happens not a problem they are really easy to move as babies) I took some last year and sprinkled them where I wanted them when I harvested them..worked great for me. I have one her that I took seed head off long ago and it is blooming again!
