Am I off-the-wall?
hello, i'm new to the online form and this may be well discussed. i am interested in green walls. i want to find a DIY project to grow upwards. any help appreciated

Well, I know Liz was making a living planter and she used a wire frame lined with sphagnum moss and attched the plants into the moss. I suppose you could do something similar on a larger scale....

There was an exhibitor at Canada Blooms that was selling green indoor walls, and I know you want you make one yourself, but I thought that if you could look at their designs online, it might give you some ideas of how to improvise one yourself. I managed to find them by looking at exhibitors list for CBs 2008. Its GreenSpaceRoofing.com. For what its worth, they seem to sell kits for making green walls.

thanks seacat--i have seen their stuff--looks great. the reason i am going to make my own is the cost of shipping these goods to BC more than doubles the cost.
funny that here in BC i am unable to find suppliers of this product or similar.
