I have things like that trough my garden. Little girls and boys and many fairies
I didn't paint them. I think they look better as they are
I do have one solar light by each one and it looks nice at nite
I have 3 more sets of solar light coming. 4 really nice ones in a set $24.99 shopping channel

Re: my white girl
Patterson's restaurant is now derelict, bw. It was lost in a kitchen fire. It's been up for sale for over a year now. I wish some rich American would come buy it up and turn it into a pancake house. I remember one in the USA called "Johnny Appleseed" which was so much fun and delicious family food.

I know this is an older thread but I just had to add my two cents - I wouldn't paint her either! I agree that she's beautiful the way that she is

No, don't paint her. Why did they say you had to paint her?

It was a neighbour who said I "forgot to paint" her, lol. She paints everything, many colorful things in her garden. People on CG said NOT to paint her. I took their advice, not my neighbour's, lol.

Glad you are not painting her. Your neighbor simply told you to do what she knows to do thats all. Glad you took others advice and left it alone.

I would not paint her either. Some people need colour to be on everything, some a splash and others are ok with white, grey or black.,ivory.IF you are ok with her being white then thats how you should leave her.I like all the goodies around her and I bet she does too.

Re: my white girl
I didn't paint anything in my gardens
I took everything in each Fall then put them bck out in thr Spring. I did that for years then decided to leave them out alll winter
it was a lot of work dragging them in and out
They did ok in winter except last winter my skunk went all in crumbles
I don't know why one would do this and the others didnt
I am now afraid they all will start to crumble they are getting old
I wonder if a couple of coats of varithane would help preserved them I don't want o paint hem at all
What do you think about that??
