A secret to growing nasturtium in a window box?

I wonder if they prefer the cooler weather, because mine seem to have re-booted themselves and I've got lots of new lovely bright orange blooms to cheer up the balcony. I also noticed that they'd managed to seed themselves on the ground four floors below! Shame those ones will just get mowed over.

Could be they like cooler weather ... my pansies and viola's have perked up with the cooler temps too ....
