Pretty happy with these planters!
Since I've decided to "rest" my veggie bed, I've added beans to a couple of my planters. I usually do bush beans, but figured climbing ones would work better. got a couple of obelisks to go in them and got this:
Then there's this one....all filling in nicely!

Like Brenda...I like to make my own planters...these ones surprised me with how much I like them!!! Very little care, though I did pinch back the variegated plant (which smells like a mint BTW) to encourage branching. They just get watered daily and fertilized every couple of weeks.
The beans have reached the top of the obelisks now.....

Oh yes! Lovely planters K. I adore obelisks, small ones, medium ones, large ones and very large ones. They are a great medium for anything that grows upwards! Fabulous idea to grow pole beans on one. Why not I say?

Well hopefully my planters survived my 10 days away....My neighbour snuck over to do some watering for me but we have been on a full watering ban so it was nice she did what she did. I havelost my new guinea impatiens but for the most part everything has survived...with a little browning up. But there is still plenty of summer left, I say!!LOL
