Is there a way to train cats to stop eating my plants?

Here's a helpful article on protecting houseplants from your cat: http://www.canadiangardening.com/garden ... at/a/28274

Unfortunately, I think it's a natural instinct for cats to chew... This piece basically says to provide them with a plant they can chew with the hopes they avoid the ones you don't want munched on.

The above stuffs are really helpful to avoid cats.

Keeping cats out of reach to plants by using separators is also a good idea.

Yes, animals chew plants to help with their digestion. You can provide your cat with catnip or other plant for your cat to prefer. Here's also an article on cat fav's.

I've tried the pepper and lemon-based sprays but I've never had any luck. Plants with long, thin leaves seem particularly enticing. The only thing that's worked for me is giving them a "catgrass" plant (sprouted oats I think) every once in a while, and putting the suffering plant higher up.

Hello! I'm no expert but I have lots of indoor plants and two troublesome little fur-babies! I grow cat grass on a pot on the ground and this seems to keep them from nibbling on my others plants!

That and the old water bottle persuasion seems to do the trick :)
