Cane Begonia

I have had 2 cane begonias(same variety) for several years. They are situated in different parts of the house. Recently they both have started shedding their leaves. I have not changed their position, fertilize regularly and don't see any evidence of any pests. Any idea why they should both be doing the same thing? Is this something perhaps that comes with age?

Hi Debbie. Caned Begonia, also know as Angel Wing Begonia. I used to grow these as house plants for several years. I found misting regularly with water, was a good thing for them. I am not sure what else to suggest, unless they have been in the same pot for a long long time, perhaps they would benefit from re-potting.
