No Tulip Flowers?

Postby PeonyFan » May 05, 2008 3:55 pm

Hey guys:
The leaves came up for my tulips this year, but over half didn't have flower stalks...just leaves. What happened?

How old are your bulbs? If they are older then they may have reached the end of their life span and it's time to replace them. If they are young bulbs it's possible they just aren't big enough to produce flowers yet. Leave teh ;eave alone until they die back naturally so that they feed the bulb for next year.

I have no sight of all of my beautiful parrot Rembrandts...I can't believe all I got was one year out of them.

Oh well, the store always has new and improved, every fall.

Sigh.
