Cedar Planters poisonous?

Is it ok to grow edibles in cedar planters?

As far as I know, cedar has a natural resistance to pests but it does not leach into the soil so it should be safe to eat anything grown in those planters. It's definately preferable to pressure treated wood. [/b]
