One of my projects...UPDATE WITH PICS

I have a few smaller projects this year. This pic is of the south side of my yard...also happens to be the entrance/throughfare to the backyard. I am planning a "Santa Fe/Mexican...ish...theme here...you get the idea.

I plan to rearrange the rocks and add some smaller, interesting pieces of wood. Also, it will be planted with yuccas, sedums, and blue fescue grass. I have rock planters, and a terra cotta pot to plant up as well. I have purchased iron geckos to put on the shed, a fountain ( see pic ), mexican stepping stones, and some smaller trinkets to place within as well.

It doesn't look like much now, but I'm working on it.

What a great idea!! I'm sure it will look fabulous...but then I am partial to rocks....

Although I do think perhaps you need to take a trip there, to do some hands on research ehhehe.

I make a mean guacamole dip! And I recently got a new (larger) blender...good for pitchers of margaritas.

I think I have to be careful as it would be easy to make this look...well...cheesy (I guess that's to go with the nachos...lol).

Everyone is welcome...bring your sombrero and a shovel... as it gets extremely hot on that side and I have quite a bit of planting to do.

Edited to add: sorry...misunderstood...thought the you guys were planning on coming here...darn...thought I'd get some helpers.

Venice...I've never been to Mexico, but did go to Spain...does that count as research?

Scrap...help?? with shovels??? do they have one handed shovels...gonna have a hard time with Margaritas in the other hand........
