Cistern pond...Day #4

Need advice about building a raised garden bed, double-digging or installing an irrigation system? This is the place to find the help you need!

Are you putting fish in the pond?And I so agree on the shelf thing you need to make sure kids can get out even my bigger pond has one oh and i put a few petrified roots across it so the birdies can get out if they fall in.. :lol:

Looking good! What major progress you guys have made. :) I'll look forward to seeing it with the plants around it, etc. Just a thought - but if you plant MGs, virginia creeper, or some other viney thing in a container right close to that gas pipe, I bet you can train it to surround the pipe and cover it up. I also agree that the shelf is a good idea. Better safe than sorry.

Wow...what a transformation. You and your family's hard work is definitely paying off.

You might what to call someone (ie. heating and/or gas handyman) about the line...maybe it could be sautered off or capped somehow.

Hubby seems to be ahndy kinda guy, I'm sure between the 2 of you you can come up with a solution.... Maybe a lattice screen.... :?
