Looking for Chinese Lanterns
I do a lot of dry arrangements, and end up using a lot of stuff I grow in my garden. these darn things never grow for me from seed...I've been trying for years now! Would anyone have any they can trade? I have seeds to trade or can pay postage. I know they can be VERY invasive, but I can't even get my mint to spread past the small plot it has. Thanks for looking guy!

Where are you located? I could send you some roots, just don't blame me when they take over your yard. Olivia, who's been digging it out for years now!

Oh my! Chinese Lantern. It took me 3 years to get rid of mine. And then my next door neighbour planted some on the property line and I had to start all over again!
This is an incredibly invasive plant.

I too had the same problem along with Japanese beetles. Long time ago now but I'd think twice about planting lanterns. Silver dollars are nice too.

I planted 1 last year. It now looks like I have 10. What time of year to they flower? I'm near Peterborough, Ont. I may think twice about growing now from what I just read. LOL! Does anybody have a photo of 1 they could post?

Chinese lanterns are growing here like crazy and I ahve to apologize to kso, I still have not gotten them into the mail for you. Please come by and cut whatever you want and then dig up some roots to take with you. Let me know if you can do this sometime. I will arrange a day that is good for the both of us. Olivia
p.s. tried to get a picture, my batteries are dead!
