Random Link Issue

What we are referring to is links that are posted that do not pertain to a conversation that is already taking place.

My vote is a most definite NO!!! I've always come to the Patio/OTGF for conversation and fun/goofing around, NOT clicking on annoying random links. Not interested in "talking" to a link, even when in an ebullient mood. laffs

I know some think that posting a link will start a conversation.

I don't look at links usually unless they are pertaining to a conversation already started,or if a question has been asked that I am interested in.

If a link is just posted with no mention of why, I pass it by.

Random links with no description is not okay I think.

Providing a link to prove an example, show an article or other matter of conversation with peers should be allowed.

The issue has now been resolved and links without information won't be allowed. I've posted a list of rules below that hopefully, will be to everyones satisfaction.
