Have you ever had a tomatoe that seems to take forever to ripen?
Only the first one Joan, and then it seems they are a lot like zuccinni, just won't stop and you can't even give them away.
Ron, that reminds me of years ago when my parents grew tomatoes in hothouses. They went from ground to ceiling but I have never seen any growing like that outside. You must have good supports for them. A very healthy looking crop.

I think they ripen in the dark Joan.
The question is how will I get in there to pick them.
Ron.

a good head start
My reference regarding 'to pinch or not to pinch' states... "Tomato Vines should be pinched but bush tomatoes do not need pinching". But if you're buying from a nursery half the time they don't know the difference, so the real answer is to grow your own from seed. Then do as Ron does and start them early.
