QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEW FORUM
Hi everyone!!
I know it is a big adjustment getting used to this new forum. We are all bumbling and stumbling along, Lyn and I included. Although we were aware of upcoming changes, we were certainly not expecting this much of a change!!
We know you have many many questions, and if Lyn and I can, we would like to help you out.
Please, in this thread, post your questions, preferably one at a time, and we will try our best to answer them, if we can't we will refer them to the powers that be.
Thank you all for your patience!! The kinks will be worked out!!
Kelly and Lyn on her behalf

Re: QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEW FORUM
Hey Kelly, Lyn,
I think I speak for all of us in saying that we know you gals are taking the flack from all of us. Heck, someone has too... LOL. Only glad it's you... hehehe.
Come on guys, grab a beer, glass of wine, and let's figure this out 'till it's ironed out!!!! Pretty soon, it's going to be child play
Now I'm up to .06 cents.

Re: QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEW FORUM
I have a couple of questions - not to worry if you don't have the answers..
1 - is there a place to check off so that the site "remembers me" or is log-in a requisite each time?
2 - my avatar is just plain old wimpy at that size - do we have any specs to make it actually visible?
3 - how did a couple of folk get their signature and quote into their postings?
4. what is the UCP? - apparently THAT is where the signature can be altered [this is the second half of question three] - it says so down there just below the "submit" button.
There are lots more, but we'll start with those. laf!

As far as we know, not yet. PITA for sure.

HA!! I haven't been able to get one in there yet!! A good suggestion to go to the powers that be.

Right now I am C&Ping and using the quote button. Carol knows how to do the signature thingie, but I have figured out that UCP stands for User Control Panel...which you find once you lick your profile and go to PM yourself.Whcih makes no sense but hopefully will be fixed in upcoming days.
Oh...I guess I don't have to quote question #4..

Re: QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEW FORUM
Thanks - I am now going to go into my profile and attempt to PM myself.
Just wondering where I'll find notification of a PM, after it's done. laf!!
