Spider Babies . . . .

I have a spider plant that has grown two long tendrils with tiny plantlets at the ends.

Should I leave them on the plant or remove them ?

Wondering if the "babies" will take nutrients from the main plant.

Your 'spiderlings' do recieve nutrients from the mother plant and will soon start to develop aerial roots on its own. When these start to sprout if you want to increase your stock, place the babies on top of soil, pin down the runner stalk and in a few weeks you should have a newly started plant. Personally, I think there is no more beautiful sight than to see a chlorophytum with a multitude of these offsets cascading from the mother plant down to the floor.
