Now, that's a Wintery scene I could wake up to and momentarily forget about shovels and backache, Betty. LAFF!

Beautiful image Betty !!
I just bought a new set of crosscountry skiis and spent a good part of yesterday trying them out. Such a great way to get out into nature in winter.
I'd have to work up to taking my camera along with me though...not brave enough for that yet!

Perish the thought, Carsbar! Slinging that BHL©inge, you'd sink thru the crustiest of snow surfaces in no time flat. LAFF!

Nothing beats cross country sking IMO, mine are ancient but what I have seen of the newer ones, I don't really like. I am actually thinking of getting snow shoes as they can be used when skiis can't. I want to try before buying.
If I had a camera like yours, I wouldn't be taking it along either BB.

Ah, nice to be back.
It was trying to respond to this thread that I realized that something was amiss - just glad it wasn't something I did!
I was going to mention to Carol that perhaps an itty bitty digi camera should be put on her 'Santa' list; something she could easily put into an inside, easily accessible, pocket. With her talent she could probably get some really nice 'snapshots'.
