Some of these songs are pretty funny. I liked the 'boring meeting' and 'she Shanty' at the bottom. I'd never heard a song about labor before hehe

Are these Newfoundland songs Ven?

Pretty good

I heard louise and Roger before

I was trying to get the 3 hankie tear jerker song to play but no luck

Ummm I think that's just the heading for the songs under it. Did you listen to She Shanty?

Mom-to-be Ven, hilarious, the earnest expressions on the singers' faces as they deliver deadpan important message. Had to turn the volume down to barely audible cuz Jack the Lad of no tin ears lifted his shaggy head and crooned along with "She Shanty".

They may have been recorded in Seatle but some the songs Orginated from NFLD

Isn't that funny, because every one of those songs listed was written by these ladies except for "Arise" which was written by Julia War Howe who died in 1910....
